Mother plants
Batouwe uses its own mother plants for cuttings. We know the origin of every cutting, allowing us to focus directly on quality.
Growing conditions
A tree in top condition requires top-level growing conditions. From propagation to the finished product, the trees are grown in our own nursery.
Wide assortment
We specialize in growing pleached and standard trees with trunk circumferences of approximately 4/6, 6/8, and 8/10 cm and trunk heights of approximately 1.20, 1.50, and 1.80 m.
Growth guarantee
Batouwe trees have a growth advantage. We achieve this by regularly pruning them during the growing process and providing the right nutrients. We supply our trees with a growth guarantee.

What would you like to know?
What types of trees does Batouwe grow?
We mainly grow evergreen trees such as Quercus ilex, Photinia, Magnolia grandiflora, Elaeagnus ebbingei, Prunus lusitanica Angustifolia, and Prunus laurocerasus types. We also grow Liquidambar, which many of our customers use for pleaching.
How do I know if trees are suitable for pleaching?
From September onward, all trees are generally suitable for pleaching. You can also ask our sales team your specific question.
What sizes does Batouwe supply?
We mainly supply standard trees with trunk circumferences of approximately 4/6, 6/8, and 8/10 cm and trunk heights of about 1.20, 1.50, and 1.80 meters.
In what pot sizes does Batouwe supply its trees?
Mainly in C12, C15, and C20 pots.
